Nicholas finished the KICK/USA 2003 Extreme Tour as one of the Top 4 young athletes in his division. He was recognized as a State Finalist and as a KICK/USA Regional Champion.

Nicholas was invited to attend the annual KICK/USA Awards Banquet and Presentation of Champions and was awarded a regional champion trophy, regional champion badge, and a certificate for all his hard work and dedication.
